Equipment/Uniform Return

Monday, 11/7/2011, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Rogers Middle School

Cheerleaders must return the numbered bag, wind suit pants, skirt and shell. 

All must be clean!  No spots or stains and all must be laundered prior to return.  Temporary alterations must be removed.  The bag should be cleaned out and free of personal belongings [especially food; no crumbs, etc.]

Football Players need to return helmet, shoulder pads, rib pad, thigh pads, knee pads, tailbone pad, girdle, practice & game pants, belt and game jersey. They need to be laundered prior to return.

There is a charge for not returning any or all of the equipment and for any damage to any or all of the items.  This is at the discretion of the Cheer/Football Coordinators and the Board.  In addition, we will not accept any pre-registration or open registration paperwork if there is an outstanding balance or missing equipment.

 

2012 Pre-registration

Rogers Middle School

Pre-registration is available for current players and their siblings.  At the time of pre-registration, families will be required to provide completed paperwork, birth certificate, recent photo and deposit for each child. Deposit rates are $75 per child or $125 for families with two or more children enrolled.

NEW Yearly Rates effective beginning with the 2012 season:

Flag Team ($75 football/ $100 cheer)
A, B and C Teams ($150 football/ $190 cheer)

New AGES & WEIGHTS for the 2012 and 2013 seasons:
Flag - Ages: 6 year olds

* 5 and 7-year olds if approved by the President/Flag/Cheer Coordinator

C Team - Ages: 7-8 year olds
Weight: Maximum weight of 100 lbs.  There is no minimum weight.
* 9-year olds weighing less than 70 lbs. are allowed to play at this level

B Team - Ages: 9-10 year olds
Weight: Maximum weight of 125 lbs.  There is no minimum weight
* 11-year olds weighing less than 95 lbs are allowed to play at this level

A Team - Ages: 11-13 year olds
Weight: Maximum weight of 145 lbs.
* There are NO 14 year old lightweight football players at this level
** For CHEERLEADING ONLY:  14 year olds are allowed to compete at this level

Open Registration is now closed for the 2011 season.

The 2011 Season begins with the first practice on Monday, 8/1:

Mondays - Thursdays, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. FOOTBALL

Mondays - Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  CHEERLEADING

As of Monday, 8/8, practice will be 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Mondays - Thursdays

Please note:  There will be no practice Wednesday, 8/31 due to back to school activities for West Irondequoit.

As of Tuesday, 9/6 , practice will be 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturdays.

Practice Location:  Iroquois Middle School Campus,

150 Colebrook Dr.

Week of 9/18 Practices:

FOOTBALL - Practice on Tuesday, 9/20 and Thursday, 9/22 will be at Josh Rojas Park.  Back to Iroquois as of Saturday, 9/24.

Starting the week of 9/26, Tuesday and Thursday practices will be at McAvoy, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  Saturday practices will be at Iroquois

CHEER - Practice on Tuesday, 9/20 will be at Rogers Middle School, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.  On Thursday, 9/22, practice is back at Iroquois, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.  No practice on Saturday, 9/24 - Cheer For Charity!

Parent Meeting:  Thursday, 7/14, 7:00 p.m.  IHS Cafeteria

 

Uniform and Equipment Distribution:

Saturday, 7/23, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday, 7/27, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Home Games and Bottle & Can Collection - Sunday, 9/18

Tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, teachers...

Nickel Back Bottle & Can Return will be on site at the IHS stadium to collect cans and bottles for our donation to Golisano Children's Hospital

as part of the Cheer For Charity Competition.

Cheer For Charity - Saturday, 9/24, 3:00 p.m.

Bottles and Cans are being collected to benefit the Golisano Children's Hospital.
